The Rwanda Uganda safari starts from Rwanda’s International Airport and ends at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport. Day 1: Arrive in Rwanda – Kigali International Airport 15:10hrs & transfer to the Hotel

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park 135km about 2 – 3 hours drive. Do Imigongo Art tour en route + amazing countryside photography & game drive in the park in search of the recently re-introduced Black Rhinos

Day 3: Morning game drive in Akagera Np in search of Black Rhinos & other wild game & transfer to Gisenyi Lake Kivu 493km about 6 – 7 hours drive

Day 4: Explore Rwanda’s Dancing Pots – a famous Batwa led project, attend to amazing Intore traditional performance & sun set relaxation on the sandy beaches of Lake Kivu

Day 5: Relaxed breakfast & transfer to Uganda – Mgahinga National Park 178km about 3 hours drive crossing at Chanika border post. Enjoy the incredible scenic views of Virunga Volcanoes (a chain of eight Volcanic Mountains straddling from Uganda, through Rwanda to Democratic Republic of Congo) & the overlooking Kigezi Highlands.  This area presents one of the fascinating photographic moments in Africa

Day 6: Do Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Np 53km about 2 hours drive.

After briefing, you connect to the trail head and start the gorilla trek passing through dense vegetation perched on steep slopes of the Virunga Volcanoes. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park shelters three (3) of the eight (8) Virunga Volcanoes namely; Mount Muhabura, Mount Gahinga and Mount Sabyinyo with their peaks inside the park. You explore these impressive slopes gaining scenic views of the region, exploring flora and fauna not forgetting a myriad of birds before coming across the critically endangered apes as they forage, the young ones playing and rolling themselves on tree branches and the silverback demonstrating their mighty dominance. The one full hour with the gorillas is a rewarding moment to explore the gorilla in detail and take as many pictures as you can. You retreat from the activity which tends to last 2 – 8 hours after which you transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

The short trees with overlying branches in Ishasha present the best opportunities for viewing tree climbing lions than any other part of the world where such Species exist. It is a magical day in the forest exploring other forest wonders including the historical trees that are 55m tall and over 200 years old and the myriad of birds including the Kibale ground thrush that is endemic.  At 7pm, you embark on an exciting Nocturnal walk experience gaining chances of exploring the amazing species in the verdant forests of Kibale including the Bush babies, African Civet, Mongoose among others.
