Day 1 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Arrival to KGL in the evening, welcomed by the guide and transfer to Hotel
After a flight from your point of origin, you land at Kigali International Airport where you will be received by our company representative giving you a courteous welcome and a brief introduction about the country after which you transfer to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Kigali City tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Start at 8am and undertake a half day tour of Kigali city exploring the beautiful city landscapes including the historical Gisozi genocide memorial to reflect on the tragic ethnic conflict that befell Rwanda in the year 1994. You visit the Kigali markets before settling for lunch at Hotel Mille Collines before setting off for the 116km about 3 hours’ transfer to Volcanoes National Park to the North east of Rwanda. The fascinating Rwandan hillsides en route will form part of your lasting memories. Retire for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 3 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Do Mountain Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes Np & transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Np Uganda
The Gorilla trekking in Rwanda starts at Kinigi park station in Volcanoes National Park. You enjoy the traditional Intore performance before the briefing and a hot cup of coffee. Briefing starts at 8am after which you connect to the trail heads to embark on the gorilla trekking encounter. Depending on the gorilla group allocated and how far it has moved that day, the trek lasts 2 – 8 hours and involves one full hour of Gorilla viewing and impressive photoshoots. Retreat from the activity and transfer to Uganda. You cross through Cyanika boarder in the views of the Virunga massif before being welcomed by the magical Kigezi Highlands arriving at the lodge in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 4 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Do Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park & relax
Engage in another Mountain Gorilla trekking experience but this time in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – with a minimum of 400 Mountain Gorillas. The trek commences with briefing at 8am after which you follow the rugged landscapes of Bwindi marked with steep slopes both up hill and downhill, narrow valleys all with dense vegetation cover. The duration of the gorilla trek in Bwindi ranges from 2 – 8 hours depending on the gorilla group movement but the actual time spent with the Gorillas is one hour for purposes of conservation. The second encounter with the Gorillas comes with diverse experience including more chances for better photo shoots.

Day 5 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP. Do game drive en route in Ishasha sector in charge of tree climbing lions
Start off the journey at 7am to Queen Elizabeth National Park 309km about 10 hours’ drive inclusive of the lunch stop and game drive in Ishasha sector. The two hour game drive in the Ishasha sector offers chances of viewing the tree climbing lions that tend to hang on the branches of fig trees in the mid morning sun. In the afternoon, you proceed to upper Queen and connect to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 6 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Do morning game drive in Kasenyi Sector, afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise and evening game drive along the channel track
Game drive commences at 7am traversing Kasenyi sector gaining great possibilities of a range of wild game including the four of the big five namely; Lions, Leopard, Elephants and Buffalos, others like defassa waterbuck, topi, bush buck, wart hog, spotted hyena and beautiful bird sights. Queen Elizabeth National Park has over 600 species of birds. The game drive lasts 3 – 4 hours after which you settle for lunch and later do Kazinga Channel launch cruise in the afternoon departing at 2pm from Mweya Jetty. The majestic launch cruise lasts for 2 hours and comes with possibilities of exploring Nile crocodiles, Hippos, water birds and the wild game drinking on the channel shores. From the boat cruise, you do an evening game drive along the channel track in search of more wild game.

Day 7 of the 8 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari: Do Chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest Reserve & transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – the lake of a thousand Islands
Gather at Kalinzu Forest Reserve station at 8am for Chimpanzee trekking experience. You head to this tropical forest of Chimpanzees – man’s closest relative. The trek through the lush flora with possible sights of birds and other primate species will make it rewarding before spending the memorable 1 hour with the Chimpanzees as they forage and socialise including their pant hooting calls. The Chimp trek lasts 2 – 5 hours after which you embark on the transfer to Lake Bunyonyi enjoying the countryside landscapes including local plantations and cattle farms. Spend the evening at leisure.
