Murchison safari 3-4 days in Murchison. Picked up on time by Ananias after a week of NGO work with FLOW Care for Uganda. He was a great driver with a good sense of humour. He struck the right note giving information without over doing it. If any snags came up he ironed them out calmly. Pakuba Lodge was lovely and the game drives surpassed expectations. If travelling with more than 6 people a vehicle with removable roof at the front would have been preferable and I would have preferred to come back the same way on return to reduce travel time. The offer of a change and shower on return was very welcome. I would use Prime again.

Fantastic Safari in Uganda We had a 4 day trip to Murchison Falls which included a chimpanzee trek. It was fantastic. Our driver/guide was Ananias (Mr Pineapple) and he was brilliant. He was thoughtful, accommodating and great company, but most importantly, a very safe driver. He was very skilful at spotting game and we saw lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, jackals, lots of different types of antelope, monkeys, baboons etc etc as well as many bird species. The chimp trek was the highlight, although the Nile cruise came a close second. We stayed at Pakuba lodge which was cheaper then Paraa, but better value for money. The staff were very helpful, the rooms very clean and comfortable, and the food good.Cate who runs the company with Sam her husband could not have been more helpful.

2 Day 1 Night Safari from Kampala We were able to schedule a 2 day 1 night trip from Kampala. Our guides were Brian and Mr. Pineapple. They were amazing guides, great drivers, and got us the best views of the animals. We left early in the morning and made it to our hotel for lunch. Then we left immediately for a 3 hour Nile River Cruise to Murchison Falls where we saw many animals relaxing along the banks and plenty of hippos lounging in the water. Make sure to bring binoculars. After this, we were taken on a late afternoon safari tour through the national park. We saw giraffes, elephants, warthogs, and many other animals. It was beautiful. We then got back to the hotel where we had dinner. We stayed at the Paara Hotel. The hotel overlooked the Nile river which was gorgeous. The amenities were very nice, food delicious, water hot, and balcony overlooking the Nile. After a restful night, we left early with a packed breakfast for another safari drive. We found a lion pride. It was so beautiful. From there, we stopped at the top of Murchison Falls and viewed the quick strong rapids before the falls. It was nice and refreshing to be misted by the water. After this, we were on our way back to Kampala. We stopped at a nice diner that had delicious whole fried fish and fries and cold beer. Then another 4 hour drive before getting to our hotel for dinner. Prime Safari did a great job of getting all the things we wanted to see based on our schedule. Brian and Mr. Pineapple were amazing guides who taught us so much during the safari. We had such a great experience and highly recommend this company. Hopefully, you will lucky enough to get these guides!! If I were to do it again, I would have liked to enjoy the hotel with a pool that overlooks the Nile and has a swim up bar for an extra day.
