Day 1: Transfer from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi Park for an afternoon game drive with lunch en route at Morogoro town for lunch.

Wake up to your exciting safari day at your hotel, have morning breakfast and be ready to be picked by your safari guide. Our guide will take you through a short safari briefing about your 2 days short wildlife safari Tanzania. After the briefing, you will embark on your journey to the Mikumi Park Tanzania via Morogoro, a distance that you will drive for about 6 hours. You will break your journey at Morogoro town where you will have your lunch. After lunch, continue with your journey to the park; arrive at the park gate, check in and go for an afternoon game drive in Mikumi Park giving you chance to have great sightings of animals in different areas of the park like Mkata plain, Kisungura area and Hippo dams. Retire from your game drive late in the evening, drive to your prior booked campsite/hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Do a morning game drive in the park, have lunch and return to Dar es Salaam

Wake up early in the morning, for your early morning game drive in the park together with your packed breakfast. While in the park, you will drive through vegetation, expect to see several woodland, swamps and grassland with two water holes, Mkata and Chamgore. Besides the animals, you will also enjoy sights of saddle-bill storks, hammer kop, malachite kingfisher, monitor lizard among others. After you game drive, you will drive back to your campsite for hot lunch, freshen up and get set to return to Dar es Salaam.
